served in Iraq about five years ago but was discharged after a roadside IED severely wounded him
lost part of his right leg, below the knee; now has a prosthetic and is really gunning for one of those sick high tech ones
dealing with PTSD as well as some weird shit that came with straight up dying for a minute or so (hint: it's pretty much clairvoyance and a connection to BEYOOOOND)
has a younger sister he's okay with and parents who are still kind of weird about him being disabled now (father is a veteran himself, mother really needs to change her perspective)
goes to a therapist, trying to get himself back into decent work and is seriously considering making money off of his psychic thing because HE'S RIGHT ABOUT A LOT OF THINGS (but those things are sometimes also debilitatingly terrifying)
